making our house a home

Wow, I'm so sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Truth is, that past three weeks have actually been kinda busy for me! I just returned from my week-long training trip in Mainz, Germany and let me tell you...it was a BLAST!! But I'll leave that for the next post.  For now, I just wanted to share a few pics of updates to our house.  We've started decorating a little bit and bought a few new pieces of furniture.  Take a look:

Hung up the mirror and added wine rack/cool-candle-thing.

Remember how I was so excited about the lightbulb thing? Well, voila! Let there be light. :)
And we got a small area rug for the living room for now.
